Description:

2008 Porsche 997 Carrera “S” Cabriolet finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a black interior.  This 2008 example features a 3.8L flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and was configured at an original sticker price of over $102k with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, 19” Carrera Sport wheels, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and more.  Recently serviced with a new water pump, thermostat, and a set of tires, this Carrera “S” now shows just over 67k miles on the odometer and is located at the dealership in Long Island, New York.

This 997 comes finished in Basalt Black Metallic along with a black cabriolet soft top. Some normal signs of road-going wear are noted and CARFAX shows an incident to have occurred to the right side in 2017.  Paintwork was done to bring the car back to new as a result, no undercarriage damage was done, as only a flat tire in the incident stopped the car from driving off at the time. This Cabriolet rides on factory optional 19” Carrera Sport wheels which have been recently dressed in a set of General G-Max RS high-performance tires.

Inside, you will find black leather interior with heated and power-operated seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, self-dimming mirrors, and a navigation module for PCM (Porsche Communication Management).  Some moderate signs of wear are depicted on the seating surfaces, all gauges and accessories are operating fully functional.

The 997 Carrera “S” carries a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine rated at up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque.  Power is fed to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, making for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.5 seconds and a top speed of over 180 MPH.  The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus allows the driver to optimize performance characteristics and adjust the active dampers of the PASM suspension.  The CARFAX report shows a long history of service dating back to 2008 and a thorough recent inspection was carried out in preparation for sale along with the installation of a new water pump and thermostat.

This car has a clean title.  The 997 generation is more desirable than ever and this 6-speed 2008 example has been freshly serviced in preparation for its next owner, do not miss your chance to get behind the wheel.
